This convenient solution uses a simple self-adhesive, heat-conducting film, attached to the back of the mirror and connected via the bathroom light switch.

The bathroom light switch is certified to be used as the isolator as the demister uses very low voltage, so there is no need for a separate circuit breaker or complicated wiring.

When the light is switched on, the demister warms the mirror to the correct temperature, preventing condensation of steam on the mirror surface. When the bathroom light is turned off the mirror demister is turned off, so it’s only on and working while you are in the bathroom.
